Not sure where to start when it comes to booking a travel insurance policy? Feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of options? Cut through the noise and grab yourself a travel insurance policy from Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd.

It seems like only yesterday that we were basking in the warm glow of sunshine in the back garden. Now we have to contend with a new storm every week! It’s no wonder that people are starting to think about planning a getaway – and what better time than now. Whether you’re looking at getting a sun holiday or a city break, it pays to make sure you have some kind of peace of mind. Luckily I have found a fantastic policy for Travel Insurance from Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd.

As your Holidayguru, I know it can be difficult to find a policy that will give you the right amount of coverage and won’t break the bank.

I can highly recommend this policy to anyone who is thinking of travelling in the next couple of weeks. If you choose to go with them you can rest assured that Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd. is a very reliable and cost-effective broker. They are particularly effective when it comes to serving public sector employees, so if you work within that sector I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Travel Insurance from Cornmarket

Travel Plus – what’s included?

Insurance can be a pretty tricky subject, but when I saw this policy I knew it was different from the rest. The company Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd. have tonnes of experience working within Ireland and they have been in business for over 45 years now! With experience like that you know you’re getting a policy that won’t leave you high and dry.

The Travel Plus insurance policy is an annual travel insurance policy that comes with a seriously comprehensive list of cover features. You get all of this and manage to save yourself a nice amount of money. Probably my favourite feature of the insurance is that you can take as many trips as you want during the year with a maximum duration of up to 60 days at a time.

So about now, you must be asking yourself what coverage is included? I’ve put in a little overview below:

    • Free cover for dependants under the age of 24 who are in full-time education
    • Medical expenses: up to €10,000,000 available
    • Personal belongings cover: up to €2,500 – and delayed baggage up to €250
    • Personal documents and money cover: up to €500
    • Cancellation and abandonment cover: €7,500 benefit with €1,000 for cancelled departures
    • No excess when making a claim
    • Extras: Winter sports, catastrophe cover, personal accident cover, legal expenses – and you’ve got some coverage when you’re scuba diving or snorkelling to a max of 30 metres, under 14 days!

That’s just a brief overview of course, but as you can see you’re getting a lot included in the policy. So no matter what kind of holiday you’re planning to head off on, Cornmarket will have you covered. Whether you’re planning to hit the slopes over the ski season or grab that all-important bit of Winter sunshine, you can relax with peace of mind. No matter how adventurous you’re looking to get, these guys will have you feeling relaxed during your getaway break.

Who is this travel policy for?

Everyone! There are two types of travel insurance policy for you to choose from; cover for you as an individual or cover for you and another adult. But seeing as dependants in full-time education under the age of 24 can join for free, families and single parents receive all the benefits. Age is also not a factor when signing up as well. People up to the age of 86 are able to get a quote without having to pay extra. The same level of cover applies to everyone!

Family policy

  • This will cover two adults plus their dependants
  • €72.40 p.a. (with existing private health insurance)
  • €85 p.a. (without)

Individual policy

  • This will cover one adult plus their dependants
  • €55.60 p.a. (with existing private health insurance)
  • €64 p.a. (without)

Seeing as there’s no limit on the number of trips you do within the year, the policy is also well-suited for anyone looking to do some serious globetrotting. The only limit is that each individual trip can only last a maximum of 60 days, but otherwise you’re free to travel as much as you want for up to 183 days in the year. Even getaways within Ireland will enjoy some coverage as well, so if you’ve booked yourself a lovely getaway closer to home then you’re grand!

How can I get a quote?

When it comes to travel insurance, this is as good as it gets! The basic level of cover here already includes a comprehensive list that will give you a good level of cover, though of course, you can always get the additional coverage if you are opting for more adventurous activities e.g. skydiving or if you have a medical condition that you want to be factored in.

If you’re interested in getting a quote or simply learning more about the policy, then I’d recommend heading over to Cornmarket’s website where you’ll find more detailed info.
