How booking with SnowTrex works
Once you’ve successfully found a ski holiday… nothing is standing in the way of booking it. Once you’re on the offer page, simply click on the orange book button on the right-hand side. Before that, you can edit the date of arrival and departure as well as the room type at the bottom of the page. SnowTrex then calculates the exact price. Following this, you have the option to book various other extras. Extras can include, depending on the offer, ski or snowboard rental, travel arrangements and ski pass. Important: If you do not wish to book any of the extras at an additional cost, you must select the appropriate fields. On the next page, you will then find all the information about the selected trip: arrival date, country, destination, accommodation, number of nights, room type and total price. Which payment methods are available on SnowTrex?
There are several ways to pay when making a booking with SnowTrex: bank transfer, with debit or credit card. You can only use the latter payment method when booking online. Depending on when you book your ski holiday with SnowTrex, you may be required to pay the full amount straight away. Otherwise, you can pay just a deposit of the total and then the remaining amount later. If you book well in advance, just a deposit of 25% is required straight away and the full cost of the travel insurance, if selected. The remaining amount is due six weeks before departure. If there are exactly four weeks or less between the booking and the start of your trip, you must pay the entire price straight away.
Is it possible to change or cancel a booking made with SnowTrex?
You’ve booked a holiday but found out that for some reason you can no longer go and need to cancel? It’s possible to cancel at any time. You can cancel free of charge within five days of making the booking, so long as the journey starts in more than 42 days. The closer it gets to your trip, the most expensive it will be to cancel. The amount depends on the time of cancellation and the type of holiday. Generally speaking, the cancellation costs for air travel are higher. The following examples demonstrate this: If you cancel 30 days before departure, you must pay 20% of the travel price. If air travel is included, it is 50%. If you cancel up to 15 days before the start of the holiday, this will be 75% without and with air travel, it is 90% of the total price.
