Luxury Holiday Homes in Majorca – 5 of my favourites!

Rural stay in a quirky villa

I wanted to start the article off with this one because it looks totally unlike anything else! This unique and charming villa is located right in the heart of the island amidst lush, peaceful countryside, and its unusual construction boasts a three-storey stone tower and living-spaces built almost like a wine cellar with curved stone roofs and ceilings. You’ll see what I mean in the pictures below. There’s 120m² of space, and with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/dining area, you’ve got tons of space for 4 people.  And it’s just €157 a night!

The swimming pool is huge, with plenty of sun loungers for you to relax on in the sun and shade. There’s even a private tennis court should you fancy a game or two! Inside, everything has been built and design in a traditional Spanish style with air conditioning throughout. You’ve even got some fantastic beaches close by such as Platja de Muro and Cala Agulla.

A modern retreat in the mountains

Sometimes you’ve just got to get away from it all. In fact if you’re craving some proper peace and quiet, there’s an easy way to do it – head to the mountains! Majorca is blessed with some lush, mountainous terrain which serves as the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. And where better to stay than this stunning villa? It blends cutting-edge modern design with Balinese touches, helping to create an environment that promotes pure relaxation.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a huge living and dining area that’ll serve as a fantastic place for meals in the evening time – or you could use the outdoor BBQ area! It’s needless to say that the grounds outside are absolutely stunning thanks to its gorgeous pool and lush vegetation. And to see the mountains in the distance? Magical! This villa sleeps 6 people and rates start at €257 per night.

Traditional finca experience

Majorca is well-known for its fincas – traditional homes in beautiful rural settings that offer a great way to experience a side of Majorca not known to many tourists. This finca in particular is especially gorgeous, costing €279 a night. This beautiful farm house is close to Alcúdia and Pollença and features enough space for up to 8 people – 200m² to be exact! Surrounding you are the peaces of the Tramuntana Mountains, a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site which offers a range of day trips and incredible nature as well as the famous village of Deia.

In actual fact this finca has a whopping 8 acres of land! If the fruit trees are in season then you can help yourselves to what’s there, or even set up your own BBQ. The terrace boasts absolutely stunning views and you really can just sense those Mediterranean vibes. What I’d give to live there…!

Pure luxury by the sea

Here’s one that’s definitely more on the modern side. In fact this property is nothing but dream house material! Not only is the design eye-catching from the outside, but you’re also in an incredible location perched close to the cliffs with uninterrupted views of the sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves…  Doesn’t sound half bad at all if you ask me!

I’m pretty much lost for words to be honest – there’s just so much room at your disposal and all the spaces are all cleverly designed that there’s nothing left to be desired. If you’re looking for a dramatic setting for a classy, relaxed and intimate holiday spent enjoying sunsets (and the odd cheeky glass of some excellent local wines), then perhaps the is the one for you! This listing sleeps 8 guests currently going for €542 a night – with it you have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a pool and terrace with sea views and much more, all spread over 211m².

Pool with a view

You’ll want to make the most of your time on holiday of course, so making sure the location is right is another major factor in choosing a villa! Luckily this villa is in a prime location – and it’s got some serious views to boot too! You’re just a stone’s throw away from Pollença, one of Majorca’s most beautiful towns, and from your private pool and terrace you’ll enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the rolling countryside and golf greens below.

Not only is the villa beautiful on the outside, but the interiors are also really get a sense of luxury across too. The upstairs lounge has a huge window where you can enjoy the views as you snuggle up with a book, and with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and all of the mod cons you could possibly need, you’ll be living like royalty here. The villa can sleep up to 8 people and rates are currently at €428 a night.

To be honest, just looking at these is enough to make me want to book a flight to Palma tomorrow and never come back!
