Don’t lie – we’ve all watched Tarzan and wondered what it would be like to live in the jungle! ;) Well, now your Guru gives you the opportunity to enjoy these hotels right there in the centre of it all and soak up some luxury in an idyllic setting… so, a similar stay but with a bit of charm of course! Surrounded by lush exotic flora, it’s an experience you’ll be just eager to tell your friends and family…
1. Banyan Tree Bintan, Indonesia
The country of Indonesia is large, diverse and full of individual traits… but this hotel is particularly surprising because just 45 minutes by ferry from Singapore and you’re transported to a whole other world; a luxurious Eden!
Amongst many options, the hotel offers guests spectacular villas with private pools and wonderful views of the South China Sea as well as the choice of dining on the beach or along the cliff. Not an easy decision you know!
2. Rayavadee, Krabi, Tailandia
If you can imagine paradise, it’s pretty much this location, with incredible views, beaches and good weather. The hotel is located between three beaches; Railay, Nam Mao and Phra Nang, and it’s worth noting that there’s also an intriguing restaurant in a cave on the beach :D
It’s pretty unreal actually… this is a hotel in the Kravi National Marine Park, and you can enjoy the cliffs that surround you, as well as the tropical gardens and woods :)
3. Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi,Phangnga, Tailandia
With a unique location between the stunning Krabi and the popular beaches of Phuket, this resort is located on an island which is only accessible by boat or helicopter. You have the choice of enjoying luxurious rooms of whole villas for familes or groups of friends, and whichever you choose, you’ll have plenty of breathtaking views completely surrounding you :)
And in the top of the hotel there’s the Hilltop Reserve, a great thai restaurant located at a prime location for panoramic views, and of course there’s the infinity pool where you can enjoy the best sunsets and sunrirses.
4. Tortuga Lodge & Gardens, Tortuguero, Costa Rica
In the sanctuary for wildlife is the Tortuguero National Park, and in the same place, respecting the environment is this hotel, accessible only by seaplane or boat. Because it is a remote and unique ecosystem, you’ll have a great experience and maximum comfort is pretty much guaranteed :)
Taking advantage of the unique location is a must, and you’ll be able to get involved in many outdoor activities, some of which include the release of sea turtles… and that is a VERY emotional experience!
5. Roya Pita Maha, Bali, Indonesia
If you already know the region you will know that it’s the place to enjoy some of the best sunsets you could ever imagine. If the Egyptians believed the sun was dying to be reborn in the waters, you will understand that completely when you come here! :)
Again in an environment of exuberance and panoramic views that leave you breathless, it will be the perfect place to connect with nature. And also you can participate in various local activities such as yoga, painting and carving of fruit.
6. Belmond La Residence D’Angkor, Camboya
Located in the middle of the wooded banks of Siem Reap, internationally known as the gateway to the temples of Angkor Wat, it’s famous worldwise for the architectural beauty and artistic value. The spa includes ancient Cambodian healing practices as blessings in water by real monks.
Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the lush land surrounding the hotel from almost every angle. And when you taste the food, you will find that staying here is a blast to the senses. :D
