Looking for something exciting to do this Summer? If ceol agus craic is your kind of party, you might wanna be looking at Indiependence festival right about now!!
Indiependence 2016 – Mitchelstown Is Where It’s At This Summer!!
The festival yesterday announced the first artists to make up their 2016 line up… and it’s looking more than impressive!
What To Expect
Headlining the bank holiday weekend will be Editors, The Kooks, BellX1 and Ash, bringing the energy and Indie vibes to Deer Farm! And the festival looks to be welcoming back some friendly familiar faces to the camp as well this year. We’ll see Dublin brothers Hudson Taylor return to the always very fond crowd, while The Strypes and The Blizzards pump that kick into the atmosphere over the three days.
As well as the big names though, you’ll stumble upon some crazy up and coming talent, as only Indiependence is known for. So the earlier times of the day when you stumble out of camp, you’ll be surprised what new tunes you discover! You can see the full line up so far in the picture below :)
Not only is the festival about big sounds on big stages though, as you’ll see when you come across the silent disco, the Beer Hall Stage where a bit of ping pong is a big attraction, and the comedy/spoken word stage. The whole festival boasts so much for you get stuck into and enjoy.
… And it’s growing in quality every single year! It’s no mystery why people keep coming back and why the early bird tickets are now sold out. You can still get your weekend camping tickets for €119 now though, just click the link below.
Or, as usual, I’ve left a link below for you to find the cheapest hotels in the area… you know, if camping isn’t your thing!
It’s bound to be a fantastic weekend down in the Rebel County, filled with incredible music from home and abroad, great partying, and a serious bunch of people :D So you definitely need to start considering it part of your Summer plans. But there’s no point if you don’t have tickets! ;) So get on that!!
