Las Vegas Strip at night

1. Heading out to the racetrack with the cars from Fast & Furious 7

You’ll be able to head out on a pretty special adventure in Vegas – one that’s behind the wheel of dream car from the likes of Fast & Furious 7! You’ll be leaving tracks on the Las Vegas Motor Speedways racecourse and tearing around the corners at over 300km/h. Whether it’s a Ferrari 458 or a Nissan GT-R, a real action-packed experience will be waiting for you here! The Dream Racing company offers this once-in-a-lifetime experience starting from $325. You’ll be feeling like an action hero and trying out one of the most luxurious cars in the world all in one!

2. Yoga with dolphins at the Mirage Hotel

It’ll be pretty easy to find your balance and inner-harmony when there’s dolphins swimming past! Sounds strange, but in Vegas it’s possible! The yoga course at the Mirage Hotel takes place in a room with huge glass window that offer views of the dolphin enclosure. This unique ambience makes it easier to find your inner peace and reach that state of bliss. The curious animals always like to swim by the window and take a look at what’s going on. If you found yourself wanting more contact with the animals, then you can take part in the Dolphin Trainer For a Day course and accompany the animals in their day-to-day life.

3. Diving with sharks at Mandalay Bay

Even though you’ll be in the heart of Nevada’s deserts, you’ll still have the opportunity to go diving with sharks at the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay! It may sound a little scary to some, but even if your nerves are getting the better of you just thinking about it, it’s actually an unforgettable experience. Adrenaline junkies will have the opportunity to swim and share the aquarium with over 30 species of sharks and other marine animals, such as green turtles or sawfish. The dive will also be recorded on video too. To make the experience as exclusive as possible, the aquarium limits entry to only two people a day. You’d better sign up sooner rather than later!

4. Experience a luxury dinner at extreme heights

Just be sure not to drop your fork! With Dinner in the Sky you can enjoy some incredible views and culinary delights at a head-spinning height of 60m – but don’t worry, you’ll be seatbelted up! The table is hung up by strong wire ropes and secured to a tower built specifically with it in mind. To eat dinner up above for $275 – not exactly cheap, but a memory that’ll stay with you for a long time!

5. Soar across the city with the VooDoo zipwire

You’ve probably seen videos of this before! With the VooDoo zipwire you’ll be racing across the city at a blistering 50km/h together with your brave partner on a rope that’s been set up between both towers of the Rio Hotel. Doing it at night when the city lights up is particularly fun!

6. Visit the Zombie Apocalypse Store

“How do I survive the zombie apocalypse?” Good question – and if you’ve found yourself asking it before, then I think you’ll like the Zombie Apocalypse Store! As well as being trained how to shoot zombies, you’ll also be able to browse from a wide selection of survival get. From bones saws and Red Bull to t-shirts and cups with zombie prints and even vehicles properly kitted out for the end of the world, the fantasies are limitless. Not just for The Walking Dead fans!

7. A ride on a swing ride at over 300m above the ground

You’ve probably noticed that a few attractions in Vegas are all about heights and thrills – this one isn’t really any different! On the roof of the Stratosphere Tower you’ll be able to go on a ride on Insanity, where a mechanical arm spins you around in a circle at 60km/h with nothing but the casino strips beneath your feet. I can promise you – your screams will be heard even down below! At just $12 a ride it’s definitely one of the cheaper attractions in Vegas.

We topped off our last night in Vegas with this INSANITY! ??

8. Relax with flamingos in the centre of the city

I know, not all of you are exactly eager to have yourselves thrown about by crazy rides at unbelievable heights, but that’s ok! You don’t have to be an adrenaline junkie to enjoy the city. If you want a little retreat from the hustle and bustle, then you can pay a visit to the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. This little oasis offers plenty of calm thanks to the bubbling waterfalls and palm trees that offer plenty of shade. The highlight is of course the colourful flock of flamingos that live here in the garden. But that’s not all – entry is free! You’ll find this park in the garden of the Flamingo Hotel… No surprises there really!
