What is the Best Time to Visit Sweden?
The best travel time for Sweden for winter sports enthusiasts is from December to April. A milder climate and warmer temperatures await you in summer between June and August. Then the days are longer and allow different activities like hiking or sailing.

The Climate in Sweden?
In general, the climate in Sweden is continental, because the temperature differences between summer and winter are small. There are differences between North and South. The oceanic climate in southern Sweden is determined by the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the warm Gulf Stream. As a result, the temperatures in the south are higher than in the north of the country. The average temperatures in the warmest month of July are between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius in the south and between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius in the north.
