Love it! Vienna is an absolutely gorgeous and glamorous city, so why not combine a city break to Vienna with a fantastic hotel stay. On I spotted another great pentahotel, one of the super stylish accommodations which are worth a visit on its own.

The 4-star pentahotel Vienna (84% on Tripadvisor) has been awarded with this year’s Certificate of Excellence and is located in the Margareten area which is very central and close to the popular Naschmarkt. Discover the city’s elegant charms and its numerous palaces in the area. The Belvedere, for example was an homage to Prince Eugene of Savoy for his military achievements. The 18th century baroque mansion is ideal for a warm summer’s afternoon, strolling around in the beautiful gardens and enjoying the fantastic view across Vienna. Make sure you go inside and take a look at the galleries and the museum, which host 17th-18th century art. Since Vienna is home to the most famous composers of the world you should also take a look at the Mozarthaus Vienna. In this place he actually composed The Marriage of Figaro!

Of course Vienna has always been very famous for its ‘Kaffeehaus’, the little cosy cafes are to be found everywhere and you can indulge in deliciously sweet treats to make your stay even more enjoyable. To revive this tradition and mix it with modern influences, I’d recommend you to go by Phil’s, a hipster cafe and bar. They serve great breakfast and lunch and have menus both in German and in English. For a nice dinner and if it’s not a must for you to eat Austrian dishes go by Yak & Yeti, an absolutely fab restaurant that serves Nepalese dishes. The food really is too good…

Back to the actual hotel deal. You get to spend one or more nights in one of the Penta Plus Rooms, which is kept in the stylish design of the whole hotel. The rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom with a rainfall shower, a flat screen TV and wifi as well as an iPod docking station. If you like to stay close to the hotel in the evenings you can also take advantage of the class bar on the ground floor. It has a flashy and industrial design and can easily be used to spend the night there…
