Two Week Tour of Vietnam

Firstly, you will have to make your way to Manchester, I have included a link below and this flight is included in the overall price. From Manchester, you will fly to Hanoi, where you will be taken to the Silk Queen HotelOnce you check-in, use the free time to explore this great city and get some down time before the busy tour ahead.

No rest for the wicked, as day two marks the beginning of this adventure. At 8:00, you’ll be collected from the hotel for a three and a half hour scenic drive to Halong City. Once here, you will begin an unimaginable, overnight cruise through Halong Bay on Glory Cruise Halong Day Tour. A welcome drink, lunch, dinner and brunch is served to passengers on board, as you uncover the bay’s caves before anchoring overnight. Take the chance to dive into the clear waters for an evening swim.

Awaken to the fresh sea air, eat a delicious breakfast and prepare to explore the islands and floating fishing village. The next two days will be spent in Hanoi, where you can site-see at your leisure or you have the option to book a day long guided site-seeing tour.

On day six, you will experience some more of Vietnam’s magic, with a visit to Bai Dinh Pagoda, home to the biggest Pagoda and the tallest bronze Buddha in Vietnam. The afternoon will be spent relaxing on a boat cruise, as you admire the caves of Trang An. Following this, a night train will bring you to Hue City.

The historical Hue City will be your home for the next few days, staying in the elegant Alba Spa HotelWith an indoor pool, steam room and fabulous views of the city, you will be in pure luxury and can relax after the busy few days. The first day you’re here is your own, an ideal chance to unwind. On the second day you will be treated to a full day city tour which includes a cruise on the perfume river, followed by an afternoon tour of the Forbidden Purple City.

During day nine, you have the option to avail of a cycle tour, a visit to the markets and the Royal Tombs. After this, there is a three and a half hour transfer to Hoi An with beautiful sites along the way. Depending on time, you may get to stop at the beach and the Marble Mountains. On reaching your destination, you will stay in Hoi An Lanternwhich has an outdoor pool among other luxuries.

While in Hoi An, you will have time to explore this important trader town which has been classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Full of history, you will visit loads of amazing attractions, followed by an afternoon boat trip down the Thu Bon River to Kim Bing Village to see traditional woodworkers and shipbuilders.

On day eleven, you will visit the Tra Que vegetable village; a chance to experience the life and work of local farmers. During this day you will receive a 15 minute foot massage and take part in a cookery class. Another option is to book a guided cycling tour through peaceful Vietnamese villages and countryside.

Day twelve includes another optional excursion to My Son Sanctuary where you will find a collection of abandoned Hindu Temples dating as far back as the 4 century. This brings you to the end of your tour as you will spend another day in Hoi An, before being transferred back to Hanoi for your last night in the Silk Queen Hotel

After breakfast on the final day, you will be taken to Hanoi airport to fly back to Manchester.

Please note, as I mentioned I have also included return flights from Manchester below, but be careful when booking to choose the correct flight days and times so you don’t miss your flight home, or have too long of a transfer wait (best option: dep: 6:20, back 21:30). There are loads of dates available for this tour, so if you decide to go on a date other than my example one, please just use the “Manchester Flights” link provided, and change the dates to suit your needs.
