Valencia is renowned as one of Spain’s cultural hubs, due its prominent architecture and picturesque vibes. It makes for a brilliant city break as there’s plenty to just wander around and enjoy, and of course the surrounding areas are really cool to explore as well :)

Valencia

Pop down to the coast and admire the scenery and the crystal waters, and maybe let yourself in for a bit of relaxation on the sand :)

In terms of the city, it’s the third largest in Spain and it boasts an incredible amount of sights, great restaurants and bars, and plenty of events.

One of the must-do’s in the city is to take a bike ride through Jardins Del Turia, a unique park that’s littered with plenty of quirky little statues and things to see :) So you can cycle down from the zoo to the river and spot all the little intricacies and what not… it’s actually a really nice day out.

Of course if you’re in Valencia, you have to go on a search for the best Paella in town… it’s just what ya do! And maybe nip into a nice little coffee shop for a pitstop on your travels. One i would definitely recommend is Cafe el Principito. It’s a small number but is right across from central market and they offer outside tables so you can do a bit of people watching while you sip away :)

The Ilunion Aqua 4 Hotel is a 4* in the centre of the city, actually right next to Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences complex. It boasts two restaurants and a spa and a gym so if you’re having one of those days where you just fancy staying quite local and not budging, you have pretty much everything you need right there. And also, complimentary Wifi is available so you can easily keep up to date with the world!
