Driving through winding country roads, soaking up those views of the rolling countryside and stopping off at picturesque villages and excellent vineyards – it’s one of the best ways to experience Italy! I’ve spotted this cheap Tuscany spring holiday this April that will be perfect for a relaxed, tranquil holiday for just the two of you. :)

Tuscany Spring Holiday

This deal is with Expedia, which means that you’ve got your accommodation and flights already included. Just be sure to pick the flights to Pisa for the cheapest option! :)

You’ll be staying in a lovely, rustic apartment at the Villa Grassina, located in Pelago. You’ll really get that proper countryside feel here – you’re surrounded by gorgeous landscapes and rural villages where you’ll feel like time has come to a stop. Relaxed, laid-back – just soak up that charm at your own pace. :)

There are a few sights close by such as the wonderful Castello di Nipozzano estate and the gorgeous Vallombrosa Abbey, but it’s also definitely worth going further afield too. San Gimignano is a typically Tuscan town that’s famous for its distinctive towers, while Lucca features one of the best preserved walled cities around. If you’re looking to sample wines then be sure to head to Salcheto or Antinori. And of course why not head to Pisa or Florence for the day? Both of these wonderful cities are bursting with culture and sights for you to get stuck into!
