The idea of a little island paradise is enough to make us all crave a holiday! The sounds of the waves quietly lapping against the sand, the swaying palm trees and sunsets that seem to last forever… I just want to pack my bags and go! Well, if it just so happens that you’re craving a heavenly beach holiday far, far away, then you’ll love this next deal in my Holidayguru Cruise Week! Travelnet.ie have got this gorgeous offer for a Southern Caribbean Cruise from Dublin, where you’ll be able to leave all the stress at home and just put those feet up…

Southern Caribbean Cruise from Dublin

This deal will see you cruising around the Caribbean for a whole 13 nights. Expect powdery snow-white beaches fringed with palm trees, a wealth of fantastic cultures and cuisine and some lovely weather indeed! Relaxation is certainly high on the agenda with this cruise as well. Return flights from Dublin to Miami are included as well as your transfers and luggage, plus all inclusive catering and on-board entertainment during your time on the MS Celebrity Equinox.

From Miami you’ll be heading out to several beautiful island nations across the southern Caribbean. The first on the agenda is the port of Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas. It’s part of the US Virgin Islands and it offers the perfect blend of Caribbean vibes and plenty of activities to get stuck into. You can even take a cable car up to the to top of a mountain for amazing views of the city below! You’ll also stop off at Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. It’s the largest island in the country and offers plenty of cultural activities as well as heavenly beaches for you to relax on.

Then you’re off to Antigua, where you’ll find countless stunning beaches nestled in small bays and coves. It really is the epitome of that classic island paradise and the laid-back lifestyle is absolutely captivating! Barbados is up next, an island where you can let your hair down and just enjoy life! Bridgetown has got plenty of fantastic opportunities to go shopping and it’s a hub of activities with street vendor selling all sorts of food and treats. Definitely go diving or snorkelling while you’re here!

The next stop truly is a stunning one. St. Lucia is a pint-sized island, but its mountainous terrain and lush vegetation makes it a sight to behold. Its two distinctive Pitons (see the photo below) dominate its landscape. You’ll be going for a catamaran cruise while you’re there – they’re always a really fun experience and the feeling of sailing on the sea with the see breeze rushing past you is awesome! The next destination has got a European feel to it thanks to its Dutch heritage. The island of St. Maarten is actually split between the Netherlands and France. You’ll dock at Philipsburg in the Dutch half, and landscapes vary from sheltered coves, beaches to even lagoons. Have you ever seen those videos of airliners coming in to land just above peoples’ heads on the beach? This is the place! Head to Maho Beach if you want to get in on the action – just remember to keep your head down. ;)
