If you’re looking to go on a little adventure to somewhere you may not have explored before, then I can only recommend the charming city of Vilnius. The Lithuanian capital is bursting with lovely architecture and it’s super budget-friendly too!

Solo City Break to Vilnius

I’ve managed to put together a great little city break to Vilnius using Airbnb and my Flight Finder. You’ll have return flights as well as your 3 nights in a lovely studio apartment situated just outside the Old Town. You’ve got loads of restaurants, cafés and supermarkets within easy reach, so really it’s a fantastic choice for a self-catered break. And I’m sure you’ll absolutely love the decor too!

Vilnius has some of the best-preserved Baroque architecture, and you can see it in famous landmarks such as the Bell Tower, the Basilian Gate and the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. You’ll love wandering the streets of the old town, and you’ll find that the atmosphere here is super cosy and very relaxed. Lithuania is also home to an amazing brewery scene as well, and it’s fair to say that you’ll taste some of the best beer in all of Europe here. Be sure to book a tour in a local microbrewery if you’re into your craft ales! And of course, you can’t miss out on an opportunity to visit Trakai Castle, probably Lithuania’s most famous landmark. This gorgeous castle is situated on an island and the gorgeous spires makes it look like something out of a fairy tale!
