Discover stunning cities along the Baltic Coast

p.p. from € 1609

As a destination, Russia is still a country that’s got that sense of mystery around it. We’ve all heard how beautiful and stately the city of St. Petersburg is meant to be, but not a lot of us venture out there to see it with our own eyes! If you’ve got a little taste for adventure – and want to see some other stunning cities along the way – then you’re going to love this cruise offer currently going at!

Scandinavia and Russia Cruise from Dublin

We’re now on to our third day of the Holidayguru Cruise Week, and this time we’re heading to the Baltic Sea, where you’ll spend 14 nights discovering coastal cities that haven’t changed that much at all! Each new stop along the way will be like taking a step back in time.

You’ll be starting your adventure in Southampton – you’ll have return flights from Dublin as well as luggage and transfers to make things just that little bit easier. Then it’s time to set off on the Celebrity Eclipse, where you’ll be able to enjoy the vessel’s fantastic amenities to the fullest. All inclusive catering and entertainment is all there for you, and should you book a oceanview stateroom or above you’ll even be treated to free drinks and $300 on-board spend!

Before setting off to the Baltic Sea, you’ll have a delightful stop in the charming town of Bruges, famed for its Medieval architecture, canals and timeless character. What a perfect start to the journey!

Your first Scandinavian destination is Copenhagen. This is one seriously cool city, and there’s a wealth of iconic sights to get stuck into such as Amalienborg Palace, Tivoli Gardens and colourful Nyhavn harbour. Then you’re off to visit their Swedish neighbours in Stockholm! This is another very modern and forward-thinking city strewn across dozens of islands. Wander the streets of Gamla Stan and prepare to fall in love!

Now the real adventuring starts to begin! You’ll continue eastwards until you reach the Estonian capital, Tallinn. It’s not a city on everyone’s radar, which is a real shame – this historic centre of this compact city almost looks the same as it did in the middle ages! I’m talking all sorts of wonky, colourful townhouses, narrow streets and impressive fortifications with beautiful spires. It’s a really amazing place for a short break!

Now you’ll be finally off to see the famous city of St. Petersburg. It’s the world’s northernmost city with a population of over 1 million people, so expect long sunlight hours and stunning colours come sundown and sunset. The Winter Palace, Hermitage Museum and the onion-domed Church of the Savior on Blood are just a few examples of the truly incredible architecture the city has to offer.

On the return back to Southampton, you’ll also stop off in Berlin. Nightlife, culture and that famous laid-back atmosphere makes it a truly awesome place to see! It’s certainly a jam-packed itinerary, so it’s a perfect cruise for those really looking to soak up a lot of culture and explore places that are slightly off the beaten track.

To book the deal then just head over to’s website and you’ll be able to enquire about a spot on the cruise there. And here’s a little bonus – should you book this cruise, you’ll be entered in the draw to win a €200 holiday voucher!
