With this Oslo break you’ll have one of the city’s trendiest neighbourhoods at your doorstep – and you’ll enjoy a bit of 4* luxury along the way too. :)

Oslo Break

With this Expedia package I’ve put together you’ll be able to enjoy a 2-night break in the Norwegian capital. As well as your return flights from Dublin you’ve also got a stay at the very trendy Scandic Vulkan as well, so you’ve got pretty much everything sorted already.

The hotel is part of a modern development in the East End of the city (also called Vulkan), so you’re in a fantastic location. There’s an ultra trendy food market called Mathallen right at your doorstep. Grünerløkka is also just a short walk away, which is where you’ll find some gorgeous architecture, snug cafés and trendy boutiques.

Rooms are ultra modern here, and you’ll get some great views of Oslo too. Plus you’ve got breakfast included each morning which will definitely help you save some pennies! The centre of the city is where you’ll find most of the iconic sights such as the Opera House and the medieval Akershus Fortress. If you want to splash a bit of cash, then you can always go for a shopping spree at Karl Johans Gate. I also recommend checking out the Norwegian Folk Museum and Viking Ship Museum at Bygdøy though – it’s a great way to brush up on Norway’s colourful history and get in touch with your inner viking. :)
