Lovely architecture, fantastic nightlife – and the locals sure know how to have the craic too! Scotland’s second city is the perfect place for a little mini-break away, so why not do it in style with this luxury Glasgow city break I’ve put together using Expedia!

Luxury Glasgow City Break

Now I’ve been to Glasgow a lot and I’ve often walked past this hotel wondering what it looks like on the inside. And well… the answer is – absolutely beautiful! The Carlton George Hotel is right in the centre of the city between Tron Church and George Square, meaning you’ve got shopping, nightlife and the fantastic Waxy O’Connor’s Irish pub next door. What’s not to love! To top it all off you’ve got your flights from Dublin to Glasgow included too.

Expect nothing but proper luxury at this place – perfectly  designed rooms and an incredible rooftop restaurant and bar with view of central Glasgow means that you can have a classy time 24/7! And not only have you got all the goings on of the city centre at your doorstep, but the trendy West End is just a 15 minute walk away as well.

There’s tons of fantastic restaurants and bars such as Mother India and the Hillhead Bookclub in the West End, and the student population keeps everything dynamic and fresh. One of my favourite spots to go to is Professor’s Square next to the University of Glasgow – from there you’ll have lovely views of both Kelvingrove Park and the art gallery.

I’ve picked multiple dates – including August too! But if none of these suit you you’re more than welcome to change them yourself over at Expedia. :)
