How about an extra long weekend in Spain’s buzzing capital?

Long Weekend in Madrid

I really feel like Madrid tends to get overlooked by people in favour of other Spanish cities by the coast. Madrid really is fantastic once you start exploring the area – you’ll find tons of fantastic nightlife, street-art and really cool vibes all around. Neighbourhoods such as Chueca, Malasaña and Salamanca are choc-a-bloc with seriously hip bars, shops and restaurants and you’ll get fantastic value for money!

I’ve managed to put together this nifty deal using Hotels.com and Skyscanner. You’ll have return flights from Dublin as well as 3 nights at the ibis Madrid Centro Las Ventas. It’s on the edge of the city centre but that doesn’t mean you’re in a bad location at all. In fact you’ve got the metro literally at your doorstep, so you’re able to go to pretty much any area of the city that you want from here!

Of course if it’s your first time here then you just have to get stuck into the historic centre and check out places such as Plaza Major and the Palacio Real. You’ll find tapas bars and restaurants on every street corner and the Spanish architecture is always so lovely to see. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle then you can always check out Parque del Oeste or Paruqe del Retiro and enjoy a time out in the lush nature.

To book this deal, simply click the links below to be taken to the providers’ website. You can customise the dates for this deal but just bear in mind that prices will be subject to change!
