Hiya! Have you ever visited the gorgeous Channel Island of Jersey? It’s so close and so good! So plan your trip now but save some money with the deal that I have tailor-made for you with the help of Travelbird.co.uk and Budgetair.ie.

Aer Lingus takes you from Dublin to Jersey airport. I would then suggest you rent a car to get to your hotel quickly and it gives you the freedom of driving around the island and explore the whole coast. There is free parking on the hotel grounds. Now, the hotel that you are going to stay in is simply amazing! It is only 200 metres from the cliff and within no time you find yourself at the pretty harbour Bouley Bay. The 4-star Undercliff Guest House (88% on Tripadvisor) earned a Certificate of Excellence in 2014 and even owns original features that date back 200 years. Since it’s a family run hotel – ever since it was turned into a hotel – the staff take great care that they make you feel at home and fulfil you any wish. From the hotel you have a wonderful view across the sea and if you do not like to swim in it cause it can still be a bit nippy, then take advantage of the nice pool that is set in the garden. Relax on the sun terrace and fuel up your energy level, while you enjoy the fresh air. If the air is super clear you even get to see the French coast. Back to the deal, you will be served a full English breakfast in the mornings after a good night’s sleep in your modernly designed room. Good to know: The hotel is wheelchair accessible and free wifi is available everywhere.

What is there to do? The island is very famous for scuba diving, so if you want to try that out you can take a lesson at the school just down the hill. Jersey zoo is also nearby and you can visit the old fort Leicester, a heritage site. The location of the hotel makes it easy for you to follow one of the North Coastal Cliff Paths. Step out of your hotel and start hiking across this stunning island always having a fantastic view across the sea. Follow the sign posts that lead your way from 10 – 32 km. Just pick whatever route you feel up to. After a long hike you can refresh yourself at the Black Dog Pub around the corner of the hotel and cool down with a cool drink.

FYI: If you don’t want to book  a car with another company, simply contact the hotel, they also provide car hire organisation! If you do not want to get around without a car that’s fine too. There is a bus stop close to your hotel.
