I found you this Highlands Holiday in October 2017! You’ll be staying in the former St Benedict’s Abbey, on the southern end of the legendary Loch Ness. In the local area, you can explore the stunning countryside, or visit the local village of Fort Augustus. You can also rent a boat of play golf in the surrounding area. If you want to go a little further afield, you can visit the town of Inverness too. The town is estimated to be founded around the 12th century, and the River Ness runs through it. Today, the town is home to excellent restaurants and is a tourist honeypot.
