What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Greece? Most likely those heavenly islands with their whitewashed villages, and imagining sipping on a glass of wine as you soak up those views…  And Croatia? How about stunning Mediterranean landscapes with historic cities bursting with character and charm? There’s no denying that these countries are easily two of the best destinations in the Mediterranean, so if you’ve been dreaming of distant shores and warmer climates then I think this amazing Greece and Croatia cruise from Dublin will definitely be your cup of tea…

Greece and Croatia Cruise from Dublin

So, onwards with the Holidayguru Cruise Week! This time, Travelnet.ie are currently running a fantastic cruise offer where you’ll be sailing to some of Greece and Croatia’s best destinations over the course of 7-nights. Perfect for those looking to take things at a slower pace and really delve into the culture and cuisine that’ll make this trip unforgettable.

This cruise deal comes with your return flights (incl. luggage) from Dublin to Venice, and you’ll have transfers included too. Venice is where you’ll be setting off on your adventure aboard the MS Rhapsody of the Seas, where you’ll be heading eastwards along the Adriatic Coast to your first port of call.

The Croatian city of Split is first on the agenda. This vibrant city is the second-largest in the country and features a wealth of historic sights and a beautiful Old Town. Whatever you do, head out to see the Diocletian’s Palace (you might recognise it from Game of Thrones…), and soak up the atmosphere in one of the many bars and restaurants.

Then its onwards to Athens, one of Europe’s ancient capitals. Use the opportunity to head up to the Parthenon and explore the beautiful neighbourhood of Plaka! Your adventures in Greece aren’t over just yet either, since you’ll even be stopping off at the legendary island of Santorini (a dream come true for many people!). Let those famous views of the caldera sink in and wander the winding streets of Fira, the island capital which clings to the cliff faces.

During the final leg back to Venice you’ll also pay the Greek port of Katakolon a visit too – it’s a typical Greek seaside town with lots of colourful houses, beaches and opportunities to enjoy fantastic seafood by the waterfront.

You will have full board catering and on-board entertainment during your time on the ship, so you’ll be taken good care during your time on board. Just kick back and put those feet up! If you’re interested in booking the deal then just pop over to Travelnet.ie’s website and enter your details to enquire about a place on the cruise. And of course if you do decide to book then you’ll be entered in a draw to win a €200 voucher! Fingers crossed! ;)
