Sun, summer, beach… that is what you’re looking for when you go on a holiday. I can offer you a good deal for the lovely Greek place called Glyfada. I tailor-made this trip for you with the help of Trivago.ie and Budgetair.ie, so book both, hotel and flights separately on these pages.
Swiss Airlines fly you from Dublin via Zurich to Athens. On your outbound flight you havea bit of time to kill on your stop-over, however on your flight back it’s only a 55-minute wait. From the airport in Athens you can take a taxi to the hotel, which is quickest and easiest. Costs roughly €25 and takes 35 minutes. You will stay at the 4* Palace Hotel Glyfada Athens which is located right at the beautiful sandy beach. Ideal for relaxing all day and taking a refreshing bath in the crystal clear water. The rooms are air-conditioned and from there you will have an amazing view across the Saronic Gulf. Breakfast is included in the deal, but you can also dine at the hotel’s restaurant at your own cost. Otherwise you can of course also treat yourself to dinners in the many fantastic restaurants in Glyfada and try out delicious Greek specialities.
Glyfada is great for going out, it has a vibrant nightlife with many bars and clubs to choose from. You will see that many locals also go on holidays in Glyfada, which makes it more authentic than other touristy places… If you like to explore the surrounding area a bit more, contact the hotel, they offer to organise excursions and day trips for you!
