Sometimes it’s nice to know you’ve got a little mini break coming up – a change of scenery will always do you wonders! And the best thing about it is that this Edinburgh weekend break definitely won’t cost you the world. :)

Edinburgh Weekend Break

I was looking around on Trivago and Skyscanner and managed to put together a city break to the Scottish capital that’s cheap as chips! And although you’ll be staying in a hostel you’ll have your own private room with free wi-fi, and it’s received some fantastic reviews!

The deal comes with your return flights from Dublin to Edinburgh as well as your 2 nights at the Argyle Backpackers. You’re perfectly located for exploring both the Old and New Towns, with Holyrood Park, Arthur’s Seat and the University of Edinburgh all just a short walk away. Perfect for making the most of your time here!

I’m an absolute sucker for the Old Town – all of those winding streets, gorgeous stone buildings and the castle overlooking it all… It really is magical! You could easily spend hours at the castle checking out all of the exhibitions there, plus the views aren’t too bad at all from up there! ;) Speaking of magic – if you’re a Harry Potter fan then be sure to head to the Elephant House. This is the place where Rowling created it all, and the bathrooms are filled with messages left behind from fans all over the world. It’s so lovely to see!

For a pricetag that small it’s hard to argue with that! Just click the links below to book your hotel and flights if you want to avail of the deal. :)
