We’re on to the final deal of our Holidayguru Cruise Week, and we’re certainly ending it on a high note with this fantastic Dubai cruise from Dublin! As well as experiencing one of the world’s most famous and modern megacities, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit stunning islands and an ancient city which has stood the test of time. This is certainly the deal for anyone looking to really broaden their horizons…

Dubai Cruise from Dublin

With this travelnet.ie deal you’ll be cruising around the Middle East for a week aboard the MSC Splendida. Not only will you be delving into rich, exotic cultures, but you can definitely soak up a fair bit of sun from the comfort of the ship and admire landscapes that are definitely a far shout from what we’re used to in Europe. Deserts, rugged cliffs and islands fringed with swaying palm trees… It’s like stepping into 1001 Arabian Nights!

Included in this deal are your return flights from Dublin to Abu Dhabi, and you’ve also got checked-in luggage and transfers to help make things that extra bit convenient for you. During your time aboard the ship you’ll even have full board catering and a free drinks package included too, plus all the on-board entertainment you could ever want. It’s fair to say that you’ll be taken good care of. :)

After departing Abu Dhabi you’ll set off for Sir Bani Yas Island, a small island with some incredible beaches, flora and fauna. It serves as a stunning nature reserve where endangered species native to the Arabian Peninsula can roam freely. And there’s also a massive range of outdoor activities on offer too – how about going for a tour through the deserts, going horse riding or even trying your hand at some falconry?

Next up is venerable city of Muscat, the capital city of Oman. This beautiful city is home to stunning mosques and stately buildings, and thanks to strict building regulations even newer buildings follow the traditions of older structures, giving the city a gorgeous uniform look. Definitely be sure to visit the men’s prayer hall in the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, or try your hand at haggling in the sprawling souks and markets.

Now you’ll be heading back up to the UAE, stopping off at the popular cruise destination of Khor al Fakkan. Here you’ll be able to relax on the broad sandy beach which offers great views of the surrounding bay, and you can even stop off at one of the many restaurants and shops along the promenade and watch the world go by. And up next is definitely the highlight of the cruise – Dubai! With a skyline that looks as if it just sprouted out of the desert, Dubai actually has a whole host of historic areas beneath the glitzy, modern surface it’s famous for. The area surrounding Dubai creek is one of the oldest and it’s there where you’ll be able to go shopping in the souks, visit timeless mosques and see a side of Dubai that doesn’t get a lot of attention.

Then it’s back to Abu Dhabi, before jetting off home after a long adventure – and if the weather’s anything to go by you’ll be looking sunkissed! If you’re interested in this cruise then just head over to Travelnet.ie’s website and enter your details to enquire about a place on the cruise. And of course if you do decide to book then you’ll be entered in a draw to win a €200 voucher! Fingers crossed! ;)
