So if you’re planning a late holiday for re-boosting your energy levels when autumn starts then take a look at this offer that I found on It is just the right idea to escape the beginning cold wind and grey skies into a place full of sun, a lovely sandy beach and blue water. Take a look:

You will fly from Dublin to Reus and since your hotel is located in Salou you can easily take a taxi to the hotel. Now, Salou in October is a good choice, since it is not as crowded as during peak season, but you still have the opportunity to have an exciting nightlife during your stay. The place is full of bars and restaurants to spend some fun nights out. Or you decide to skip all that and simply relax on the beach, which won’t be packed at all around that time and enjoy the tranquillity.

ONA Novelty Aparthotel (66% on Tripadvisor) welcomes you in Salou only minutes from the popular beach “Levante”. You will be accommodated in self catering apartments but with a supermarket just around the corner it will be easy to get food and keep the holiday on a budget. If you want to mix your stay up a bit, I’d recommend a trip to Tarragona. The historical town is ideal for strolling around in the picturesque narrow streets and treating yourself to some great sea food. The Roman Cathedral there gives you a fantastic look over the Bay. If you’re travelling with children you can take advantage of the close by water parks and make it an adventurous stay for them!
