As well as being close to a few beaches, Sicily’s capital has a wealth of cultural sights that are well worth getting stuck into! So why not treat yourselves to a bit of the good life with this cheap Palermo getaway?

Cheap Palermo Getaway

I’ve spotted a fantastic deal on Expedia for a 3 night stay in Sicily’s bustling capital, Palermo. As well as historic architecture and a buzzing atmosphere, there’s also amazing food to be had here too. You’ll definitely be enjoying the finer things in life here.

This deal comes with your return flights from Dublin to Palermo as well as 3 nights in the excellent Boutique B&B Vintage – the reviews of this place are absolutely wonderful! The winding streets of the hold town can be a challenge to navigate sometimes, but since you’re right in the heart of the action you’ll be finding your own way around in no time at all.

I definitely recommend getting a taste of local life and heading to the markets of Ballarò and Vucciria where you’ll be able to pick up some cheap bites to eat (the local dishes are divine, believe me!). If you’re into your history then there’s everything from cathedrals and palaces to even the Capuchin Catacombs! If your feet are starting to ache then just chill out in one of the many squares or gardens – or if you want to feel some sand in between your toes then Mondello beach is the place for you.

Palermo is a really exciting place and extra exploration really does pay off here. If you’re interested then just click the link below to check out the deal. :)
