Ryanair’s website and app to go offline for 12 hours

Make sure to check-in or make changes to your flight before 5pm on Wednesday, November 7th

Just a heads up! Ryanair customers will not be able to check-in online for 12 hours from Wednesday evening (November 7).

The airline’s mobile app and website will close for a system upgrade from 5pm on Wednesday until 5am on Thursday (November 8).

Ryanair said that new bookings and changes to existing flights will also not be possible.

The airline’s policy is to charge customers extra if they need to check in at the airport, so if you want to avoid any pesky fees before you fly out this week, do so before Wednesday evening.

The airline said it had contacted all customers who are due to travel on Wednesday and Thursday by email and SMS to advise them to check in before the closure.

Ryanair said: “As part of our continued digital development, a web closure and system upgrade will take place for 12 hours, from 17:00hrs (UK time) on Wednesday 7th November, until 05:00hrs (UK time) on Thursday 8th November, during which time our online check-in service will not be available.

“Flight bookings and changes will also be unavailable during this period. Customers travelling on Wednesday or Thursday should check-in for their flight on Tuesday 6th November.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com”
