If you’re planning on spending a lot of time in Dublin this Summer, then luckily for you it could be jam-packed with incredible talent and some of the best nights! :)
First Acts Announced for Live at Leopardstown!
Following a successful eight years so far, and a record of 42,000 attendees, the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown series is set to be back up and running this Summer, and they’ve announced a stellar first line-up! It’s great news for those of you trying to plan a few events without spending a bomb to flee the country :) I’ve left a link below for you to find the cheapest hotels in Dublin so you can make a trip with the pals!
What to Expect
Set to play the festival this year are The Boomtown Rats, The Strypes and Booka Brass Band… with plenty more to be announced! But what a decent way to start!? There’ll be 8 shows over the Summer in total, one a week every Thursday.
The Summer series always promises a decent night out. Whether you’re based in Dublin or you’re travelling up or down the country, it’s well worth it. Spend the day in Leopardstown Racecourse, make a few bob on the horses, get the drinks in and drown the night out with some fantastic live music. Summer vibes in a nutshell!
July 21st – Booka Brass Band
August 4th – The Strypes
August 11th – The Boomtown Rats
How To Get There
Leopardstown is only about 20 minutes outside Dublin’s city centre. You can take the Luas Green Line to Sandyford and from there there’s a free shuttle bus to take you right up to the site. Otherwise, a taxi between two or more of you won’t cost you too much and should only take between 15 and 20 mins. Or if you’re driving, just head off exit 15 or 15 on the M50 southbound, or exit 15 on the M50 northbound.. and don’t worry, there’s free parking on site.
